This course provides an overview of one-piece shower bases, glass shower enclosures, and accessories and includes discussions on methods of waterproofing shower floors, shower design, and installation and tiling guidelines for shower pans and accessories.

Now, more than four years later, this presentation examines the evolution of facility design in response to lessons learned. It explores which design strategies have proven effective, sustainable, or transformative in shaping best practices. Highlighted topics include recent advances in IP&C that influence strategic planning, operational efficiency, spatial dynamics, and architectural innovation. Additionally, presenters will address decision-making considerations beyond IP&C, such as cost efficiency, sustainability, and the patient, staff, and family experience. This trend has impacted the design, operation, and maintenance of data centers around the globe due to the increased demand for data and digital communication and has resulted in more high-performance data centers. This presentation addresses the specific needs of data centers and presents high-performance design solutions that support sustainable design.
Insights gained during the COVID-19 pandemic have shown how vulnerable we are to contagion through indoor air, but the pandemic also revealed many new solutions to better ensure indoor air quality. In this course, we examine the role of humidity in indoor air quality and its impact on air pollutants. We also discuss how to control humidity in residential and commercial spaces and review several solutions for humidity control.
