    Hidden access covers blend utility access covers with the surface continuity of streetscape, hardscape, and landscape designs. This course reviews the functions, product types, and specification and installation considerations of hidden access cover solutions.

    Explain why hidden access covers for manholes, vaults, trenches, drainage, and tree grates blend with the surrounding surface to improve accessibility, safety, and the appearance of the hardscape.

    State how hidden access covers function in applications requiring access points for underground public utilities, venting (sewers), drainage of surface water, or water access for trees in hardscapes.

    Discuss the advantages of specifying residential access covers designed for septic tank covers, sprinkler valves, or anything that would compromise the aesthetics of a property, including driveways, walkways, yards, and pool or patio decks.

    List the crucial installation and specification considerations for a successful hidden access cover installation.
