    The recent shift toward protecting the environment has also brought about a better understanding of our innate need to reconnect with our natural surroundings. This is known as biophilia. In this course, we examine the elements of biophilic design and how to implement biophilic design strategies known to improve the physical and mental well-being of occupants. The use of resilient flooring in commercial applications offers an opportunity to implement biophilic design.

    Define biophilic design and list some specific ways to implement it in a space.

    Explain the beneficial health impacts of using biophilic design in commercial spaces.

    Enumerate the key elements and attributes of biophilic design.

    Determine the strategies and considerations for using biophilic design to achieve desired results.
