Course description: AEC Daily: Turn Workspaces into Idea Places
ONGOING - FREE - 1.0 HOUR
Even with the profound shifts in how we think about and utilize the office, the essential need to communicate in writing remains unchanged. Creating spaces that foster teamwork and idea sharing rests in the hands of the individuals who design these workspaces. This course discusses the opportunities to establish spaces that invite innovative productivity by reviewing today’s available writing surfaces designed to provide teams with methods to keep up with the pace of collaboration in the new world of work.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss how the transformations in the workplace have changed how we work and how work activities can be better supported by spaces and features designed specifically for a task.
State the eight office zones depicting today’s ideal workspace for employee retention and productivity.
Define and contrast the features, performance, warranty, and sustainability of writing surface options to facilitate the selection process.
Summarize the trends guiding modern idea spaces that maximize functionality, efficiency, and adaptive collaboration.
