    Discuss how fire and smoke protection systems can minimize the impact of fire and smoke and why it is necessary to ensure smoke containment in specific areas of a structure.

    Discuss how the building codes address smoke control and the building design measures that must be taken to give building occupants enough time to exit a burning building.

    Discuss how integrated door systems enhance the safety of buildings and facilities and recall the different types of testing and rating for these door systems.

    Describe the advantages of integrated door systems over conventional doors and identify the features of installation, components, and finishes that contribute to their durability.
