Course description: AEC Daily: Achieving Precision Irrigation with Water Control and Safety Innovations
Ensure your turf, plants, and trees are getting the appropriate water—in the right quantity, with the proper safety, at the highest efficiency—to reflect your unique landscape environment. This course addresses the most important factors to be considered to achieve optimal performance. At the “root” of an effective irrigation system is proper water volume, pressure, and safety.
Select the most effective prevention of the hazards of backflow with respect to the system’s environment, design, and budget.
Determine appropriate point-of-connection water pressure and system volume for optimal safety and performance.
Integrate labor-saving components into the system.
Ensure long-term durability of the system’s components in providing water system safety and conservation.
Track and control system performance and make adjustments as necessary.
