Course Description: CEU Events: The Color-Filled Kitchen: The Art and Science of a Color Composition
Many homeowners find it challenging to coordinate color and design schemes in kitchens due to a lack of knowledge about color theory and design aesthetics. Cooking and baking in a home is often influenced by lighting, universal design, culture, and traditions deeply influencing social wellbeing and stress resilience. This course will introduce color theory and tools to better understand the three core color archetypes for kitchen design.
Evaluate the perception of color in kitchens and its link to a user's well-being.
Define three color and style archetypes influenced by universal design and multi-generational adaptive use.
Learn about the critical shift to experiential-based kitchens hyper-focused on socialization, communication, and how color plays a role.
Develop applied knowledge for client conversations on color.
