Course Description: CEU Events: Vegetated Roof, Amenity, and Stormwater Essentials

This presentation will discuss the benefits of vegetated roofs and provide a basic knowledge of different types of vegetated roof assemblies. Attendees will become familiar with various roofing technologies commonly paired with vegetated roof assemblies, and the reasons why. Attendees will also learn key areas for coordination between team members to help ensure a successful vegetated roof project.

Identify the environmental, economic, and stormwater management benefits of vegetated roofs.
Understand various roofing and waterproofing membranes commonly employed with different types of vegetated roof assemblies.
Differentiate between types of vegetated roof assemblies.
Learn some of the keys to coordinating a successful vegetated roof with the team.
