Course description: CEU Events: Well-Living in Stainless Steel: Faucet Materials, Market Trends and Specification
This course examines how the well-living movement and frameworks such as the WELL Building Standard connect to material choices. The course explores the composition and performance properties of 304 stainless steel, along with the market and design trends driving finish and feature decisions. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify which faucet characteristics support a genuine stainless specification and communicate that knowledge effectively in client conversations and product specifications.
Describe the benefits of genuine stainless steel faucet construction for end users, including durability, cleanability, and sustainability.
Explain how the wellness movement is shifting residential kitchen design, and identify how the WELL Building Standard and related regulatory standards apply to stainless steel faucet specification.
Recognize the market and design trends currently driving client decisions on faucet finish and form, including mixed metal palettes and matte or brushed textures.
Describe the ergonomic and safety features built into faucet design, including scald prevention and lever positioning, that support everyday use.
