Course description: CEU Events: LEED v4: Paint and Coatings
A comprehensive overview of LEED v4 BD+C New Construction credits – and how paints and coatings can contribute directly and indirectly to LEED credits. We will review credit intents, explain credit requirements, and explore where to find materials to meet the needs of the credits.
Learning Objective 1 Identify the credits that apply to the paint and coatings industry for LEED V4 BD+C rating system.
Learning Objective 2 Compare the two options for Low-Emitting Materials credit that paint & coatings can contribute to LEED V4, BD+C Indoor Environmental Quality.
Learning Objective 3 Review the impact that VOCs have on air quality under LEED v4 Indoor Environmental Quality – Air Quality credit.
Learning Objective 4 Describe the types of declarations and certifications for Building Product Disclosure and Optimization under LEED V4 - Materials and Resources.
