EPIC Educational Program Innovations Center

EPIC Educational Program Innovations Center, founded 29 years ago, is a continuing education provider of engineering, technology and construction courses in Canada. EPIC is certified as an educational institution by Human Resourses and Skills Development Canada and is authorized by the Engineering Institute of Canada as a provider of CEUs. NOTE: Courses can be scheduled specifically for a group upon request and can be offered either online or in-person (covid permitting).   • Course Description: EPIC: Design and Construction of Interlocking Concrete Pavements for Municipal Streets and Roadways

    Be able to identify design input requirements to enable the use of the standard

    Identify and process roadway traffic to determine an appropriate design traffic for design

    Select an appropriate base and subbase type and thickness to withstand the anticipated traffic

    Recognize key design features necessary for a cost-effective, long-life segmental pavement design
