AEC Daily is one of the largest providers of continuing education (CE) to the Construction, Architectural, Interior Design and Engineering communities. Complimentary courses are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with automated credit reporting to numerous organizations across the United States and Canada.     Recall the different forms, types, and sources of light, as well as the qualities of lighting that play an essential role in design and function when designing residential lighting schemes.

    Identify the various types, technologies, and design options available for lighting controls when determining the appropriate approach to residential lighting control.

    Determine how various controls might benefit home performance and occupant behavior, health, and productivity.

    Specify the installation of lighting controls for single-room, multiroom, whole-house, or automated systems.

    Utilize lighting controls to improve energy efficiency and contribute to sustainability goals.
