AEC Daily is one of the largest providers of continuing education (CE) to the Construction, Architectural, Interior Design and Engineering communities.   • Course Description: AEC Daily: Bathroom Lighting: Design Criteria, Aesthetics, and Well-Being

    Natural and artificial lighting surrounds us at all times. Light helps us to work safely, enhances design, creates atmosphere, and influences our well-being. This course discusses the circadian rhythm, occupant health, and lighting color temperature, and it examines LED lighting requirements and options for lighting-integrated bathroom mirrors and cabinets.

    Describe the circadian rhythm and light wavelengths and how they impact the health and well-being of occupants.

    Discuss the energy efficiency and color temperature of LED, CFL, and incandescent bulbs.

    Identify the amount and color of light needed for tasks at a bathroom mirror.

    Recall various types of LED bathroom mirrors and select appropriate mirrors for commercial and residential projects.
