Solid surface material is a durable and sustainable solution for custom architectural solutions. Explore the extensive design possibilities of this nonporous, thermoformable material and review key performance characteristics and fabrication guidelines.

Relate the raw materials and manufacturing process of solid surface material to its environmental impacts and material performance.
Identify and obtain documentation to satisfy regulatory agencies and green certification standards such as LEED® and hold manufacturers accountable for materials transparency.
Describe performance characteristics that contribute to the health, safety, and welfare of occupants, such as flame resistance, easy disinfection, and low VOC emissions.
Create custom solid surface designs that can be fabricated with standard methods.
