This course reviews best practices for a typical hardwood flooring installation and discusses the innovative options that consolidate products and steps, saving time and money while enhancing certain performance characteristics.

    Discuss the importance of surface preparation to reduce the risks of flooring failure and costly repairs.

    State the industry standards and remediation techniques for moisture, relative humidity, flatness, and texture of the substrate.

    Summarize the surface preparation and adhesive layers needed for a typical hardwood flooring installation.

    Identify the steps to achieve a clean and flat substrate.
