This course presents the security and performance benefits of shielding technology that can improve wireless performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort, satisfaction, and safety.

    Explain the cyber and physical security benefits of building shielding that protects against broken glass, electronic spying, and cyber theft.

    Discuss the benefits window film offers in reducing HVAC and lighting energy consumption and improving occupant comfort, well-being, and productivity.

    Evaluate the industry requirements and testing for shielding technologies that offer RF attenuation, bullet resistance, and solar control.

    Describe the the shielding materials available that offer electronic eavesdropping, chemical attack, forced entry, blast, and ballistic protection to building occupants and how to choose the right product for the application.
