    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Learning Objectives:

Optimizing The Human Experience: Tailor design strategies to create architecture that is not only beautiful but also built to function around the needs of the occupants. Building occupants should not be dealing with a chronic problem of too much noise.

State-Of-The-Art Acoustical Solutions: There are many product or system solutions available to designers with a range of aesthetics, performance and price points. We will show numerous possibilities and explain some of the features and benefits of each type.

Optimizing Design: Review conceptual design strategies in notable projects by renown architects and designers.

Acoustical Challenges: Look at some commonly problematic applications for architectural acoustics and explain why some spaces have become so noisy. Explore the negative effects of too much noise on human beings. Learn about the science and standards of measuring sound and how this data is used by acousticians.
